Laura  Bonar

Laura is a registered Osteopath who graduated with distinction from the University College of Osteopathy (now HSU) in 2025, where she was recognised with several awards, including the Vice Chancellor’s Award for Clinical Excellence, the Silver Medal for Academic Achievement, the RK Hardy Dissertation Award and the Sven Svenson Bursary for Promising Osteopathic Career.

She is also the recipient of the Institute of Osteopathy’s Rising Star 2025 award.

Laura’s background combines a BSc in Psychology from Royal Holloway University and an MSc in Performance Science from the Royal College of Music, both awarded with distinction.

Her research into mental imagery for performance enhancement deepened her understanding of the mind-body connection, which now underpins her holistic approach to osteopathic care.

Laura believes in a collaborative, patient-centred approach that blends osteopathic techniques with exercise rehabilitation and psychology.

Her goal is to empower every patient to take an active role in their health, restore confidence and enhance overall wellbeing.

Having experience working with both athletes and those living with chronic conditions, Laura understands that each person is unique and deserves a bespoke approach tailored to their goals.

As both a county golfer and professional violinist, Laura has a special interest in helping people reach their full performance potential.

She understands the physical and psychological demands of performing at a high level and enjoys applying this insight into her osteopathic practice.

Having worked with local golf professionals to both predict and prevent injury, as well as designing pre-tournament warmups and rehabilitation plans, Laura is passionate about supporting individuals to maintain optimal performance throughout their career and beyond.
